Apart from the Astrology Taster Course, which is a brief, stand-alone introduction to astrology, all our courses are modular. The Astrology Foundation Course consists of three modules designed to introduce the student to birth chart interpretation, calculation of a birth chart, and astrology's astronomical background. The Astrology Diploma Course consists of six modules. The first two modules introduce forecasting techniques and planetary cycles. In addition to in-depth study, there are some fun exercises including crosswords and quizzes. Modules 4, 5 and 6, the first three of the Astrology Diploma Course modules are for sale. Module 7 will be available very soon - spring 2008.  Much work has been done on the remaining diploma modules and it is intended to release them as soon as possible. Learn at Home with Experienced Tutors
With courses from astrologycollege.com you can study at home in your own time. A major advantage of distance learning is that you can take the time to go through the lessons and exercises thoroughly. The course material is comprehensive and, although buying some essential books and reference materials is unavoidable, these have been kept to a minimum. You may, of course, wish to buy additional astrology books to supplement your studies and reading is very much encouraged. Some exercises encourage you to work on your own birth chart. Currently there are seven experienced tutors, who all hold the Diploma of the Faculty of Astrological Studies. Some tutors also hold further qualifications in related subjects and teaching.

You can write or type your course exercises, send them by post to your tutor and, in most cases, send them by email, but it may not be possible to send all exercises by email if they include diagrams or charts. You can communicate with your tutor by post or email if you have any queries.

The Role of the Tutor
astrologycollege.com provides a one to one teaching service. Your tutor will assess about three-quarters of the exercises in each module. The remainder are self-assessed. Guidance notes will be sent to you upon completion of the self-assessed exercises and tutor-assessed exercises where relevant. You may contact your tutor at any time via post or email if you have queries or are having problems with the exercises, whether self-assessed or tutor assessed. Your tutor is there to help guide you through the module you have enrolled on and assist you in achieving your aims, whether you are learning astrology for self-development or whether you want to train as a professional.
